The classic and ever popular centipede tender was used on all the late series Challenger locomotives. While the basic tender remained unchanged throughout their service life, there were many modifications applied. For our production we designed and produced eight different tender versions to make certain that each tender was appropriate for use with each locomotive model we produced. The paint and graphics variations were not counted in the tender versions, that is how particular we were with our prototype replicas, only 'hard' features were considered in the version designations.
