Union Pacific 'Challenger' First Sample 

The rear tender deck is complete with real wood planking. On later versions this wood was removed in favor of a smooth steel deck which required no maintenance. The height of the cistern hatches was actually different between versions with the later versions being the highest. The hatches open of course!
